Happy Paw Notes participates in several affiliate programs, including:
- Pet insurance providers — we may link to insurers directly or through affiliate networks such as ShareASale, and earn a commission if you request a quote or purchase a policy through those links.
- Chewy — we may link to products on Chewy.com through their affiliate program and earn a commission on qualifying purchases.
- Amazon Associates — we may link to relevant products on Amazon.com.

Happy Paw Notes is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases.
Does This Cost You Anything?
No. Clicking an affiliate link and making a purchase or signing up for a policy never costs you more than going directly to the company. In most cases, the price is identical either way — we’re simply paid a referral fee by the company, out of their own marketing budget, not out of your pocket.
Does This Affect Our Recommendations?
No. Our comparisons and recommendations are based on policy terms, pricing, coverage details, and — where available — real claims data, not on which company pays the highest commission. We link to companies we don’t have any affiliate relationship with when they’re relevant, and we’ve left insurers out of “best of” roundups when their policies didn’t hold up under our own math.
If we haven’t personally used a company or policy, we say so. If a well-paying partner has a weak policy, we say that too.
Display Advertising
Beyond affiliate links, we also run display ads (currently through Google AdSense, and potentially other networks such as Mediavine in the future). These are separate from affiliate relationships — see our Privacy Policy for how ad partners use cookies and data.
